My name is Manfred Janga and from an early age I have had a great passion for music.
I started taking recorder lessons at the age of six, followed by drum lessons at ten.
But the piano was the instrument I really fell in love with, so my parents decided to enroll me in piano classes at the age of seventeen.
I already knew that I wanted to learn to master this instrument very well. The piano is such a versatile instrument; one can play colorful melodies and beautiful chord progressions, all that quickly caught my attention.
I'm a huge fan of Bill Evans, which is why his harmonies and chord progressions have had quite an influence on my playing.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Latin, Latin Jazz, and Brazilian music at Codarts (Rotterdam Conservatory) in 2008.
I am a certified piano teacher and have had the honor to convey the joy of playing to many enthusiastic students since 2009.
The piano lessons for beginners are given from method books such as (John Thompson or others) but if you want to learn something different eg learn chords or play pop songs we can do that too.

I teach from Tuesday to Friday at Haenenmuziek in Voorburg.
These classes are taught in two teaching formats:

Individual: a weekly lesson of 30 minutes

Combined: a weekly 30-minute lesson for two people
The rates are € 85 per month and for duo lessons it is € 95 per month.
